Born Pretty Store Vinyl Nail Stencils

Born Pretty Store Vinyl Nail Stencils
These are the stencils I used for this manicure, they are from Born Pretty Store and only cost $1.99

Born Pretty Store Vinyl Nail Stencils
I decided to use the stencils only on two nails. After making sure the polish was completely dry I carefully applied the stencil and painted over it and then very carefully peeled it off, once it was dry I finished with top coat.
I really liked the lined stencils but I found that with the hearts the polish was getting under the stencils and leaving the nails looking messy.

Born Pretty Store Palm Tree Nail Decals

Born Pretty Store Palm Tree Nail Decals
For this manicure I used these decals from Born Pretty Store, they are only $3.69 and there are enough in each pack to do quite a few manicures.

I decided to start with a pink and orange gradient and then added the decals and sealed with top coat.
I had no problems with the decals peeling off of my nails and the manicure lasted around a week before I changed the design.

I really like that they also include a few bird decals in the pack, they definitely make the nails look even better.

Bonprix Blogger Competition Nail Art

Bonprix Blogger Competition Nail Art

Bonprix Blogger Competition Nail Art

For the Bonprix blogger competition I decided to do a manicure based on the red Alice Tea Dress.
I chose this dress as it is nice and simple so can be dressed up or down easily.

For my manicure I decided to do my nails based on how I would wear the dress at a Christmas party. I started by painting my nails with China Glaze Cranberry Splash to represent the dress, on my middle finger I added a heart shaped rhinestone and some smaller round rhinestones to represent a statement necklace, and finally on my ring finger I painted my nail with Revlon Ritzy to represent a clutch bag I have that is black with black and silver glitter. I then finished with a topcoat on all of my nails apart from my ring fingers as I wanted to keep them looking slightly textured like the bag.

Sparkly Nails Relaxed Chevron Nail Stencils

Sparkly Nails Relaxed Chevron Nail Stencils

I love using nail stencils for a quick and easy manicure and these ones from Sparkly Nails are great. They are only £1.25 for 60 and delivery in the UK is only £1.50. They have a great range of vinyl stencils so if you want to try them it is definitely worth checking their website, they also have a huge range of other nail art products. Delivery is also really fast.

Sparkly Nails Relaxed Chevron Nail Stencils
This is the manicure I created using them, you need to make sure your base colour is completely dry before using them. After applying them I painted each colour and then peeled off the stencils and sealed with top coat.

It is even faster if you are only using one colour over the stencils as you can just paint it on over the entire nail. I sometimes find that if I peel the stencils off while the polish is still wet I get uneven lines, so I usually let the polish dry a bit first. I know most people peel them off while the polish is still wet though so its worth trying both ways to see which one works best for you.

GlassesShop Sunglasses

I was recently contacted by GlassesShop asking me if I would like to try a pair of their glasses. I immediately said yes.

They sell a lot of cheap glasses including prescription eyeglasses.

These are the sunglasses I chose, they cost $39.95. They are actually a lot better quality than I was expecting, although they are a little bit tight across the nose on me. They are still really comfortable to wear though and since receiving them I have worn them quite a few times. They can also make prescription sunglasses if you need them too.

Next time I need a pair of glasses or sunglasses I will definitely be checking their website. GlassesShop have kindly given me a discount code for my readers giving you 50% off. To use the code just click here

Born Pretty Store Lace Nail Art

Born Pretty Store Lace Nail Art
For the first manicure I used a Barry M white polish and a Models Own pink polish. I added some lace decals from Born Pretty Store to the two plain pink nails, I then added a coat of top coat to all of my nails.

As I liked the first manicure so much I kept the second one pretty much the same but changed the colours.
They lasted on my nails without peeling for over a week.
You can get them here for $2.86

Born Pretty Store Black Nail Art Pen Review

For these two manicures I used a black nail art pen from Born Pretty Store

For this manicure I used yellow, blue, grey, white and black. I then added the hair, mouth and detail to the dungarees using the nail art pen.
It is really easy to use as you don't need to squeeze the bottle like you have to with normal nail art pens.

For this manicure I started with a base of a white polish from Barry M and then I just randomly added different designs to the nails. The other thing I really liked was when I added the top coat the black barely smudged.

You can get the pen here for only $5.99 and it comes in lots of different colours

White & Floral Manicure

For these two manicures I used a Barry M polish in white, Seche Vite Top Coat and floral water decals in QJ - 031 from Born Pretty Store

White & Floral Manicure
For the first manicure I only used the decals on my ring finger.

White & Floral Manicure
For the second manicure I kept my nails the same but added a smaller decal to the rest of my nails.

White & Floral Manicure
Once sealed with top coat they stayed on my nails for about 5 or 6 days without peeling off.
They are $0.99 per pack and they have a few different designs available, i'll definitely be buying some more in other designs.

White & Floral Manicure
You get quite a few in each pack so they should last for quite a long time. They are perfect for this time of year and I can't wait to use them again.

You can get the decals here

Born Pretty Store 3D Nail Art Decorations

I used these nail art decorations from the Born Pretty Store for both of these manicures.
They cost $2.59 for 250

Born Pretty Store 3D Nail Art Decorations
For this manicure I used 3 coats of China Glaze Glistening Snow followed by a coat of Seche Vite top coat. Once it was dry I used a little bit of nail glue to attach each decoration.

You get a few different shapes which are between 2-5mm

For my second manicure I used 3 coats of Chanel Perle Rose and then using a large dotting tool I put Color Club Put a Pin In It along the top. After applying top coat and allowing it to dry I glued the decorations on.

I didn't have any problems with them falling off but I did find after about 4 days the pearly finish on the decorations started to wear off.

Born Pretty Store Floral Lace Nail Stickers Review

Born Pretty Store Floral Lace Nail Stickers Review
These nail stickers cost $5.78 and you get 108 in the pack, I was expecting each sticker to be tiny but they are big enough to cover your entire nail.
I got them in Rose Red but they come in 4 different colours. You can purchase them here

Born Pretty Store Floral Lace Nail Stickers Review
This was the first manicure I did using the stickers and is my favourite, however the next morning the stickers had already started peeling off. I used a purple OPI polish and after applying the stickers finished with a coat of Seche Vite top coat.
I think if you are going to use them on your entire nail like this they are probably best left for when  you are going out.
Born Pretty Store Floral Lace Nail Stickers Review
This is my second manicure and they lasted longer but after 2 days they did start peeling at the base of the nail but not to much. I used 3 coats of KIKO 294 and finished with a coat of Seche Vite.

Although I love the way they look they are probably one of the more disappointing things I have received from Born Pretty Store because they are quite thick so they peel quite easily.
