DIY Peel Off Base Coat and Models Own Glitter Nail Polishes

I love wearing glitter nail polish but hate when it is time to take it off, it takes ages. I had heard of the Essence peel off base coat but it was out of stock on the site I was looking on, so after looking on Google saw that some people were making there own. I dediced to give it a go and it actually works really well.
To make it you will need some pva glue and an empty nail polish bottle, I used an old bottle that I cleaned out first.

Carefully pour the pva glue into the bottle. I recommend doing this over a surface that will be easy to clean as I managed to get glue everywhere, lol.

To use it all you need to do is paint it on like you would a base coat and allow it to completely dry and become clear.

I decided to test the base coat with a few of my favourite Models Own glitters, I used Pink Fizz on my thumbs and then from L-R Purple Haze, Party Pieces, Show Stopper and Disco Mix.

Once I was ready to change my manicure I just carefully peeled it off. This was so much faster than trying to remove it with polish remover, there were a few little bits of glitter left on my nails but I just went over them with a cotton ball soaked in remover. I was also worried they would peel off or chip but they stayed on until I peeled them off. If you want more information on the base coat take a look at Lab Muffins blog post about it, I found it very helpful.
